Our Schedules

In our classrooms, teachers pay attention to each child's needs and tailor care appropriately based on the child's individual growth, development, and interests.

Infant Room (Regular Schedule)

7:30 – 8:30: Baby’s arrival and health screening; welcome and open play (feeding/sleeping as needed)
8:30 – 8:45: Diapers
8:45 – 9:00: Bottles
9:00 – 10:30: Nap time
10:30 – 11:00: Diapers and bottles
11:00 – 11:45: Music and movement, Montessori works, and/or walk
11:45 – 12:30: Bottles and purees
12:30 – 1:00: Diapers and story time
1:00 – 2:30: Nap time
2:30 – 3:00: Diapers
3:00 – 3:30: Bottles
3:30 – 4:30: Walk, gross motor activity, or materials exploration (Reggio-inspired)
4:30 – 5:00: Prepare for dismissal

Toddlers and Twos Room (Regular Schedule)

7:30 – 8:30: Arrival and health screening; morning snack in classroom and open play
8:30 – 9:30: Free play and emergent curriculum provocations
9:30 – 9:45: Morning meeting
9:45 – 10:00: Park prep
10:00 – 11:00: Outdoor time (walk, gross motor, or art activities at park)
11:00 – 11:30: Return from park and lunch prep
11:30 – 12:00: Lunch
12:00 – 12:45: Free play
12:45 – 1:00: Story time and prep for nap time
1:00 – 3:00: Nap time
3:00 – 3:15: Afternoon snack
3:15 – 4:15: Montessori work, art activity, or materials exploration (Reggio-inspired)
4:15 – 4:30: Music and movement
4:30 – 5:00: Dismissal

*** Children who wear diapers will be checked every two hours and changed as needed. Toilet training children will be taken to the bathroom whenever requested, in addition to every two hours.

Three to Six Classroom (Regular Schedule)

7:30 – 8:30: Arrival and health screening; morning snack in classroom and open play
8:30 – 9:30: Free play and emergent curriculum provocations
9:30 – 10:00: Morning meeting and instructional read-aloud
10:00 – 11:00: Outdoor time (walk, gross motor, or art activities at park)
11:00 – 11:15: Return from park and lunch prep
11:15 – 12:00: Lunch
12:00 – 12:45: Open play and Montessori works
12:45 – 1:00: Story time and prep for nap time
1:00 – 3:00: Nap time
3:00 – 3:20: Afternoon snack
3:20 – 3:35: Instructional read-aloud
3:35 – 4:30: Work period (Reggio explorations/lab)
4:30 – 5:00: Dismissal

Toileting throughout the day as needed.
